Manchester based designer Chloe Atkins founded ATKIN STUDIO in 2021. ATKIN STUDIO’s earlier designs have been seen in both New York Fashion Week as well as London Fashion Week.

ATKIN STUDIO’s most recent collection explores the concept of examining the notion of mixing art and fashion and how garments should not only be worn but can also be exhibited on a wall as a piece of art. I was inspired by the artist Do Ho Suh, who creates immersive architectural installations to a reduced and proportionate scale. I have used Do Ho Suh’s idea of transparency between walls, and blueprints to inspire me to create details throughout the artwork and pattern pieces.
